It is located in San Rafael, on the northeastern shore of Point San Pedro. A Chinese fishing village was settled on the site in the 1880's. That's why it's called China Camp. There are hiking trails, mountain biking trails and open spaces for family picnics.
It's so nice to be out there, smelling woods, stepping on dirt, and enjoying the sound of wind passing by cattails. You can forget the busy schedule of city life for a moment.
